The Shrewsbury Food Hub is a charity that collects surplus ingredients from supermarkets, restaurants, wholesalers and just about anyone else with more food than they require. They redistribute this food back into the community via numerous local community groups and food shares - providing much needed food to anyone who needs it. I provide a service where I use this produce to curate and serve menus for my feasting and wave menus. You get a discount, the Shrewsbury Food Hub receive a donation, we both help to tackle the issues of surplus food

The quality of the produce The Shrewsbury Food Hub handles is astounding. They had boxes of Isle of Wight Tomatoes - restaurants across the country are chomping at the bit to get hold of those tomatoes!

With regards the menu, we’re in the hands of the Food Hub, so we can’t do the usual consultation and curated menu. We have to react to what’s in the Food Hub that day! So the feasting or wave menu will be a surprise! Of course, allergen information from your booking will be taken into account
